The Cerebral Palsy Parent Association (CPPA) seeks to promote the quality of like for individuals and their families affected by Cerebral Palsy and other special needs. We do this by fostering understanding, communication and a vision for the future. The CPPA will proactively address issues of advocacy, accessibility and public awareness in educational, legal, and political arenas.
What We Do
CPPA offers support and understanding for families who share the unique and common bond of having a family member with special needs. CPPA distributes information to assist families with community resources, legal, insurance, medical, and school issues, during monthly support meetings. We arrange recreational activities and programs for families throughout the year. Families are out strength and through our common bond we seek to fulfill the lives of our children.
Who We Are
The Cerebral Palsy Parent Association is a group of families working together as advocates for individuals with Cerebral Palsy and other individuals with special needs.

Opportunities to Support Our Program
|Good morning every one,
I am sending you these letters in the hopes that we can receive some support
for the Cerebral Palsy Parent Association (CPPA). We have been fortunate to
receive support from Smiths for the last 4 years through the generosity of
many people who have used this program and shop at Smiths. We been able to
receive anywhere from $750-$1500 a year for the past 4 years from Smith.
This is a great opportunity to help the family's of the Cerebral Palsy
This is no money out of your pocket. There are two ways you can sign up if
you shop at Smith, you can either take the Parent Letter (it is the first
two scan documenting below) to Smith and scan it the next time you use your
Smith value card to register with the CPPA. Or you can go online at
www.SmithsFoodAndDrug.com and register your Fresh Value card. The whole
program is explained in both letters that are attached.
I would like to let you know that CPPA has been able to assist many families
this year through our parent meeting with dinner and free child care. The
money has also been helping out in acquiring an assistive technology to help
family's take care of their children and adults. And make sure that the
CPPA families and children have a good holiday and summer activities to
bring independence to their lives. We are serving over 150 families this
year. Any support he can offer as even a program through this this one can
help us served the family's here at Carrie Tingly Hospital and the families
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me
either through this e-mail or 272-5296. Thank you for your time and
consideration and helping all our families.
